Hiiiiiii there! Kaka here :)
Nando's has always been one of my go-to restaurants, especially when I'm craving spicy chicken. So since it was Valentine's Day yesterday, I decided it was time to once again taste Nando's wonderful peri-peri sauce. And because I received my first pay from my first "real" job - YAY! :D - I thought it would be nice to take out my mum and dad to dinner and dessert. We went to Nando's Lunn Avenue, this branch is still relatively new, and it's my favorite. Although it looks exactly the same as the other Nando's I've been to, this one has a homely feel to it. It's probably because their service people are so nice and bubbly. I ordered the Family Fiesta for the three of us. It comes with 1 whole chicken, with mild peri-peri sauce (you choose from: lemon & herbs, mild, hot, or extra hot), and 2 large sides. I chose their spicy rice and coleslaw as the sides. Check out the photos below:

Looks yummy huh? Well, it was indeed very yummy! Quite honestly, I was a bit surprised that we finished it all haha! But we did, and we were very satisfied by the end of our meal. The rice was perfectly cooked, and tasted great, the chicken was perfectly grilled (as always), and the coleslaw neutralised the spiciness of the chicken. Overall, it was a great dinner! Then we went for Movenpick (also on Lunn Avenue) for some tasty dessert. Unfortunately, my camera ran out of battery and I wasn't able to take photos - boo me!! :( Feel free to click the link to see what Movenpick has to offer. My personal favorite is Maple Walnut, but I like Lemon & Lime too :)
So, there you go! That's how I spent my Valentine's Day with my loved ones :)
Yo! Yo! Yo! Tata is in the house!!!
Valentine's Day has always been quite eventful for me. It's always quite exciting and different. Unfortunately this year I was sick. I went to the doctor that morning and spent the rest of the day resting and flicking through channels with my boyfriend.
He was kind enough to just chill with me. So instead of going out he brought me flowers and chicken congee. I made some cheesecake with strawberry, which we feasted on while watching E! news.
Sorry for the blur photos. I used my phone to take them and my hand was shaking. It was a good day and I enjoyed it despite the unlucky circumstance.
